Tui Trailblazers Reach Remarkable Milestone
Saturday evening's Year 8 and Year 9/10 Prize Giving was made even more special with the recognition of ten outstanding members of our Year 9/10 Tui girls team.
These young women have been part of the team since its early days as a standalone girls rugby side and have played a significant role in its growth and success over the years. Their dedication was recognised through a special presentation celebrating each player reaching the incredible milestone of 50 or more games for the Tuis.
Since 2020, team manager Rhian Bambry has been a driving force behind the team and kept track of every game played. Between Saturday competition matches and Monday night girls' rugby fixtures in Christchurch, the Tuis have spent countless hours representing Rolleston Rugby Club with pride.

Arabelle – 56 games
Isabella – 56 games
Layla – 56 games
Emma – 54 games
Caitlin – 53 games
Isabelle – 53 games
Jody – 50 games
Mikayla – 50 games
Reaching 50 games is a significant achievement at any level of rugby and reflects years of commitment, resilience, friendship, and love for the game.
These young women have not only represented the black and yellow with distinction but have also helped inspire the next generation of girls coming through our junior ranks.
Congratulations to all ten players on this outstanding milestone. Your hard work, dedication, and team spirit have made your club incredibly proud.
